Scott Purswell, CKD
President
As President of Dovetailed Kitchens, Inc., Scott brings over 20 years of kitchen and bath design and construction experience to the leadership mix of the Dovetailed Kitchens' team. He became a Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) in 1991. Scott has been active in the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA); he served on the Atlanta Chapter's Board of Directors, National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) as Chairman of its Education Committee. Scott has consulted on kitchen design and, for Sears, he designed kitchen showrooms in 12 stores and helped write the Southeastern Division's remodeling and policy structures. His B.S., M.A., CKD and many years of broad experience in the industry help Scott as he strives to lead our company in outstanding designs and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
Heidi Huddleston, CKD
Millyard Showroom Manager, Kitchen & Bath Designer
Heidi is the showroom manager and lead designer at our Manchester Millyard location. A Certified Kitchen Designer, she comes to us with over 16 years of design experience, and is highly regarded for her innovative designs and attention to the decorative details of each project. She holds an Interior Design degree from Baypath. She has served in various officer positions including two terms as the President of the National Kitchen and Bath Association, Northern New England Chapter. She's been an executive committee member for eight years, and continues to be involved as a leader in the NKBA. Heidi has won a multitude of honors, for kitchen and bath design excellence as well as for specialty moulding applications. Her in-depth knowledge and philosophy of providing quality, conscientious service is aimed at fostering continued customer satisfaction and confidence. She's able to develop creative solutions while incorporating architectural features and clientele wishes to exceed expectations. You'll enjoy working with her!
Janice Page, CKD
Portsmouth Showroom Manager, Kitchen & Bath Designer
Janice has been in the interior design and kitchen and bath design industries for over 15 years. She received her Interior Design degree from Centenary College and studied at The American College in London, England. Janice became a Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) in 1996 and is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). She has received numerous awards and honors for her designs and involvement in the industry. Her experience in the technical aspects of kitchen design along with her understanding of, and creativity in, interior design give her unique tools to help with your home cabinetry projects
Marty Bouchie
Production and Installation Supervisor
Over the last 25 years, Marty has worked in all areas of residential construction and remodeling. The breadth of his experience gives him a unique perspective for carrying out and overseeing the installation of your cabinetry, hardware or countertops. Marty has supervised the building of multi-million-dollar homes as well as high-end remodeling projects involving thousands of square feet of renovation. He not only has been responsible for the site superintendent duties of these projects but also has done much of the trim carpentry, cabinet-making, stair-building and other tasks usually reserved for only the highly skilled craftsman. Dovetailed Kitchens can do wonderful designs with quality cabinetry, but without proper installation, it would be all for naught. You are in very competent hands with Marty and his crews.
Debbie Karpiak
Administrative Support
Debbie's main task is supporting the design and sales staff and she is excited to be working in the custom kitchen industry. Debbie has been in the construction and building industry for over 20 years in various aspects, and brings a wealth of energy and past experience with her. After Graduating with her Associates Degree in Accounting she began her career at a local lumber company, which would be the beginning of many years in the building industry. She has been the Executive Officer for the Seacoast Home
Builders Association, the largest local chapter of the Home Builders Association in the state for the past 16 years. She was awarded State Executive Officer of the year Award in 1999 and has won many Seacoast HBA local awards as well. Prior to coming to Dovetailed Kitchens, Debbie worked for a major window and door company, she opened and managed their first ever Window Showroom. Her many years of experience is a great support to the Dovetailed Kitchen Team.
Ron Bouchie
Production and Installation Professional
Since 1975, Ron has worked and greatly contributed to the residential building industry. Over the past 30 years his carpentry skills have been mastered on remodeling projects, new homes, and many custom kitchens. We have been privileged to have him in our employment for 5 years. His enthusiasm and vast knowledge of all areas of the building industry and kitchen installations has been a major asset to our company. Ron's past experiences cover a wide range of various skills from his love of jacking up old buildings to the littlest of details and the finest of adjustments on hardware and trim in our kitchens. His attentiveness and desire for perfection on every installation is a tribute to Ron's achievements, and we feel very fortunate to have him aboard.
Kate Karpiak
Sales Support
Kate, our newest employee has been working in the customer service industry for the past four years while obtaining her bachelors degree from the University of New Hampshire. She's recently begun her continuing education in the kitchen and bath design industry, through the National Kitchen and Bath Association both locally and in Baltimore. Kate is extremely excited about the design process; she works in both showrooms and is a wonderful asset to our team.
