We are always happy to work with both individuals and trade professionals. If you have an existing professional design, we would be pleased to give you a price quotation along with our suggestions on the best options for creating a kitchen with the "feel" you desire. If you have collected a "dream file" with pictures, brochures, and notes, please bring it when you visit our showroom. Nothing is as helpful as hearing your ideas and seeing some examples of what you hope to achieve in your kitchen. There is no charge for this service.

If you have not had a specific design developed for your kitchen, bring in the plans for your new home or accurate dimensions of your proposed kitchen remodeling and we'll discuss some of the possibilities and ideas you may have. We can do a simple sketch of what we might recommend and you can see a little of how the process of designing your kitchen works. A price quotation and the sketch is at no charge (Dovetailed Kitchens will retain the sketch).

If you need a professional to design your project and prepare a complete set of drawings (lighting, electrical plans, etc.), we do this as well. We will take an extensive inventory of your needs and tastes, and incorporate your thoughts and ideas with our expertise and experience to design the perfect kitchen for you. The fee is typically $500 to $1500; we retain ownership of the drawings and designs. A visit to your home or site is included.

We are sometimes asked to come to the home, measure and give our professional opinion about the possibilities of remodeling your kitchen or bath. People often find it helpful to have a professional designer come in and give some fresh ideas and thoughts to the design process.
